Mr K Mayne Proposal: Erection of a single storey extension to rear elevation to replace existing at: $\quad$ Cronk Aalin Brookfield Crescent Ramsey IM8 2AG which was considered on 24 October 2003, for the reasons set out in the attached schedule.

Reasons For Refusal
Application Ref No: 03/01146/B
- The proposed extension would cause a significant level of overshadowing and impact on the neighbouring property. Such an impact on and the loss of residential amenity is unacceptable.
NOTE Without prejudice to a subsequent planning application the applicant is advised that an extension that is less extensive and results in less overshadowing of the neighbouring property may be acceptable. It is considered that any such extension would be substantially smaller than proposed by this, or by any previous planning application. The applicant is advised to discuss the proposal with the relevant planning officer prior to the submission of any further planning application.
NOTE This decision was made by the Planning Committee constituted in accordance with Paragraph 2 of Schedule 1 of the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Development Plan) Order 1982.
