Environment Policy 2
Protects Areas of High Landscape or Coastal Value (AHLV), prioritising landscape character unless development shows no harm or is essential. Site is in AHLV but change of use of existing building does not harm landscape character or quality.
General Policy 3
Restricts development outside zoned areas except for specified exceptions including conversion of redundant rural buildings of value where redevelopment reduces landscape impact. Proposal fits as conversion of previously developed rural building.
Housing Policy 11
Permits conversion of rural buildings to dwellings if redundant, structurally sound, of architectural/historic/social interest, large enough for dwelling, compatible with surroundings, and serviced without public cost; must re-establish original appearance using matching materials. Assessed but site is already converted; further focus on suitability for residential over tourist.
Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.

Objectionwe do not feel able to support this planning application; the lane which is shared by us and another property is further deteriorating; It is clearly stated in Mr. Fairbrother's deeds that they are to maintain the parts of the lane that are both owned, and not owned by them; Where will these extra vehicles be parked?; the properties in question do not have much occupancy space on the outside
Conditions requested: investigate fully to see if the space is suitable and if the properties have enough adequate occupancy space inside also which is suitable for long term tenancy
