In pursuance of his powers under the above Acts and Order the MINISTER for Local Government and the Environment, following report by the appointed person, does hereby REFUSE the application by you for alterations and extensions to dwelling, Close Mooar, Glen Darragh Road, Glen Vine, Marown, IM4 4BE, for the following reasons:-

The details of the design proposed do not respect the character of the existing building, and do not make a positive improvement to the environment, contrary to the planning aims of the Government Plan, and to Strategic Policy 5 of the Strategic Plan.
