Proposed Dormer Replacement Statement

Proposed Replacement Dormers to Front \& Rear of 84 Bucks Road Supporting Information - 0083/02/04

As a result of our recent meetings with Ian Brookes and Steven Moore we have made the following changes to our proposal to address the concerns raised:

• We removed the central section of the dormers and reduced the size and heights as far as an acceptable head height within the room allows to give the dormers a lesser impact on the road facing façade and to be more in keeping with the already existing dormers in the vicinity.
• Following written advice from Ian Brookes we have adapted the proposed dormers to consist of a pitched roof to be more in keeping with the existing dormers in the surrounding conservation areas.
• The dormers to the rear of the property we have reduced in overall size and simplified the design to be of less impact. We have also sized the glazing in relation to existing windows below to allow our proposal to blend in with the existing building.
