Business Policy 5
Requires that on land zoned for industrial use, permission is given only for industrial development or storage/distribution, with retailing prohibited except where items could not reasonably be sold from town centres due to size/nature or are produced on-site without detracting from town centre vitality. The officer confirmed the storage facilities comply as they fall within permitted storage/distribution uses on the industrial-zoned site.
Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.

This approval relates to the erection of storage facilities with associated hard standings and drainage, Fish Yard, Mill Road, Peel as shown by NDC/2613 PA001, NDC/2613 PA002, NDC/2613 PA003, NDC/2613 PA004, NDC/2613 PA005, NDC/2613 PA006, NDC/2613SD01, NDC/2613SD02, NDC/2613 SD03, NDC/2613 04, NDC/2613 05, NDC/2613 06 and NDC/2613 07 all received 9th April 2009.
Use restriction
The buildings hereby approved may be used for storage and distribution. Approval does not extend to the use of the site for retail purposes or as a skip transfer station or for the storage or distribution of dangerous goods (as defined in the Road Traffic Act: Road Vehicles carrying Dangerous Goods (Maintenance and Use) Regulations 2000) or coal or items which could give rise to nuisance to adjacent land users by virtue of dust, noise or smell.
Do not oppose. Sufficient parking space within the site to serve the development.
