I refer to the appeal in respect of the above planning application.
In accordance with the provisions of the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) (No 2) Order 2013, I herewith give notice of the appeal decision.
I am directed to advise you that the Minister for Infrastructure, in pursuance of section 3(2) of the Government Departments Act 1987, has delegated responsibility for the determination of this appeal to the Hon R A Ronan MHK. Accordingly, the Hon R A Ronan MHK has considered the report, concurs with the appointed person’s conclusions, and accepts the recommendation that the appeal should be dismissed. Accordingly, he has directed that the Planning Committee’s Approval of the application under Article 6 of the Town & Country Planning (Development Procedure) (No 2) Order 2013 should be confirmed. Formal notice of this decision is attached.

In pursuance of his powers under the above Act and Order, the Hon R A Ronan MHK, following consideration of the report by the appointed person, does hereby in the name of and on behalf of the Department of Infrastructure, APPROVE planning application 14/01377/B by Manx National Heritage for Demolition of existing steel frame barn, removal of hard standing, reinstatement of area with grass and grass reinforcement mesh, Church Farm, Cregneash, Isle of Man, subject to the following conditions:-
- The development hereby approved shall be begun before the expiration of four years from the date of this decision notice.
Reason: To comply with article 14 of the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) (No2) Order 2013 and to avoid the accumulation of unimplemented planning approvals.
- No approval is hereby granted for the use of the site as a car park.
Reason: For the avoidance of doubt. This approval relates to drawings 01 Rev B, 02 Rev A, 11 Rev B and 12 received 2 December 2014. Date of issue 18 June 2015 By Order of the Minister
