General Policy 2
Requires development in line with zoning and Area Plan, respecting site/surroundings in siting/layout/scale/design/landscaping, not adversely affecting character/amenity/highways, providing safe access/parking. Officer assessed proposal as compliant: enhances character from public views, improves layout/access, suitable for cultural zoning, no adverse impacts.
Environment Policy 35
Permits only development preserving/enhancing Conservation Area character/appearance, protecting special features. Officer found works enhance character (better finishes/layout visible publicly, cabin improvements), with Conservation Officer no-objection; less visible ground works also improve abbey facilities.
Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
Approved plans
The development hereby permitted shall not be carried out except in full accordance with the submitted documents and the following plans 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 all received on 12th November 2013.
Grasscrete maintenance
The areas hereby identified on drawings 08 & 09 to be surfaced with a grasscrete system are to be maintained and retained thereafter unless otherwise agreed by the Planning Authority.
Landscaping implementation
All planting, seeding or turfing comprised in the approved details of landscaping must be carried out in the first planting and seeding seasons following the completion of the development or the occupation of the dwellings, whichever is the sooner. Any trees, turf, grass or plants which within a period of five years from the completion of the development die, are removed, or become seriously damaged or diseased must be replaced in the next planting season with others of a similar size and species.

For the avoidance of doubt no approval is hereby given for the temporary marquee.
