Mr J & Mrs L Gaines 27 Ashberry Avenue Douglas IM2 1PY
In pursuance of his powers under the above Act and Order, the Minister for Infrastructure, the Hon L D Skelly MHK, does hereby REFUSE planning application 13/91487/B by Mr Jason & Mrs Lyndsey Gaines for Replacement and lifting of existing garage roof to create additional living accommodation, 27 Ashberry Avenue, Douglas, IM2 1PY for the following reason(s):
- The proposal is contrary to General Policy 2(b) and 2(c) of the Isle of Man Strategic Plan 2007 in that the proposed development, by reason of its irregular, eccentric arrangement of roof planes would create an alien feature in the context of the general uniformity of roof forms both on this dwelling and in the immediate street scene.
