I refer to the recent appeal in respect of the above planning application.
In accordance with the provisions of the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2005, I am enclosing herewith a copy of the report of the person appointed to consider this appeal.
The Minister has considered the report, concurs with the appointed person’s conclusions, and accepts the recommendation that the appeal should be allowed. Accordingly, he has directed that the Planning Authority’s refusal of the application under Article 6 of the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2005 should be reversed, and that the application should be Approved subject to conditions. Formal notice of this decision is attached.

In pursuance of his powers under the above Act and Order, the Minister for Infrastructure, does hereby APPROVE planning application 12/00643/A by Mr & Mrs John Bateson for Approval in principle for erection of dwelling and garage at Field 514231, Court Farm, Main Road, Santon, subject to the following conditions:
- Approval of the details of siting, design, external appearance of the building(s), internal layout, means of access, landscaping of the site (hereinafter called 'the reserved matters') shall be obtained from the Planning Authority in writing before any development is commenced.
- The application for approval of the reserved matters shall be made to the Planning Authority before the expiration of two years from the date of this permission.
- The development to which this permission relates shall begin within 4 years of the date of this permission or within two years of the final approval of the reserved matters, whichever is the later.
- This approval relates to the approval in principle for the erection of one dwelling and garage as proposed in the submitted documents and Drawings numbered sant.court.01 and sant.court.02 date stamped as having been received on 27 April 2012.
