On 25th February 2013, and in pursuance of powers granted under the above Act and Order, the Department of Infrastructure determined to APPROVE planning application 12/01556/B by Church On The Rock for the Erection of a multi-purpose building containing community centre, function rooms, cafe/restaurant and offices, together with associated car parking and vehicular access (Amendments to PA 12/00994/B) at Site Of Former Albert Road School Albert Road Ramsey Isle Of Man IM8 1JB subject to compliance with the following conditions:
- The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
- This approval relates to drawing nos 11 0845/16, 11 0845/17, 11 0845/18, 11 0845/19, 11 0845/20, 11 0845 21 rev. A and 11 0845/23 date stamped the 22nd November 2012 and drawing no.s C/A/101 rev. A, 11 0845/15 rev. C and ap(ar)(20)02c date stamped the 13th February 2013.
- Prior to the first use of the building the car parking shown within drawing no.s 110845/15 rev. C and ap(ar)(20)02c date stamped the 13th February 2013 must be set out and capable of use.
- Prior to the first use of the multi-purpose building the vehicular access from the application site onto Albert Road must be set out in accordance with drawing no. 110845/15 rev. C date stamped the 13th February 2013.
NOTE The applicant is advised that the re-positioning of the zebra crossing, associated works and the creation of the new access will require the applicant to enter an agreement with the Department of Infrastructure under section 109a of the Highways Act (1986) for all proposed works within the highway.

This decision was made by the Planning Committee in accordance with the authority delegated to it. This permission refers only to that required under the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2005. Any appeal against this decision must be in writing and must be received by this Department within 21 days of the date of this notice.

Please note that a copy of the Officer’s report which led to the decision, together with correspondence relative to the application, are available for inspection at the Department.
The proposed development must not be commenced until either;
- The time for requesting an appeal has expired; or
- Any appeal has been determined;
Whichever is the later.
If no appeal is lodged within 21 days of the date of issue overleaf, and this decision becomes final, the Department’s public reference copy (counter copy) of the planning application may be collected by the applicant or their agent from Murray House.
Please note that if the counter copy of the application is not collected within THIRTY DAYS following the last date on which a planning appeal can be made it will be destroyed without further notice.
