In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act and Regulations the PLANNING COMMITTEE of the Department of Infrastructure has given EXPRESS CONSENT to Manx National Heritage for the placement, erection and/or display of adverts in accordance with the planning application and drawings submitted by or on behalf of the applicant and approved on the 10th June 2010.
In compliance with the requirements specified hereunder and generally in accordance with the requirements of the Control of Advertisements Regulations 2005, the proposal now given consent is for;
Erection of advertising signage.
The site for positioning the advert is;
Rushen Abbey Hotel Rushen Abbey Ballasalla Isle of Man IM9 3DB
The conditions for such placement are:
- This permission relates to the installation of signage as shown and described in drawings reference K225/P-10-01, K225/P-12-02, K225/P-12-03 and K225/P-12-04 all received on 12th April 2010.
- The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.

This decision was made by the Planning Committee under regulation 9(3) of the Control of Advertisements Regulations 2005.
Guidance Note
This permission refers only to that required under the Control of Advertisements Regulations 2005.
The proposed advert may not be erected or displayed until either;
- The time for requesting an appeal has expired; or
- Any appeal has been determined;
Whichever is the later. Any appeal against this decision must be in writing and must be received by this Department within 21 days of the date of this notice.
