General Policy 2
General Policy 2 permits development in accordance with land-use zoning provided it respects site surroundings in siting, scale, design; does not adversely affect character, amenity, privacy, or road safety. The officer tested the rear dormers against criteria (b), (c), (g) on design, character, and amenity, finding compliance due to minimal height increase, area precedent for dormers, and adequate separation preventing overlooking.
Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.

This approval relates to the alterations and installation of roof dormers to rear elevation of dwelling as proposed in the submitted documents and drawings Drg 01 and Drg 02 all received on 13th April 2010.
