Dear Marie The Commissioners wish to submit their views on the following planning applications:-
10/00109/B Mr K Barnham 1 Claughbane Drive, Ramsey - Erection of a cattery, The Rydings, Glen Auldyn, Lezayre. - The Commissioners would like further information in relation to the arrangements for the cleaning of the 22 pens shown on the plan. If they are hosed down, will this water be allowed to drain to the river as this will cause contamination? There should be no pollution to the river.
10/00118/R Mr D Reeve The Barn, Kella Road, Sulby - Installation of storage container, (retrospective) West Kella Sulby Lezayre. The application form states the container to use as storage. The Commissioners respectfully enquire what will be stored in the container as this is not explained on the application form.
10/00133//REM Mr and Mrs Kermode - Ballachree Churchtown Lezayre Reserved matters application for erection of a dwelling, land opposite Ballachree Cottage, Churchtown, Lezayre. Refused Unanimous. Too big. Not in keeping with surrounding properties. The application form states that the new dwelling will use the existing septic tank. The position of this is not shown on the plans.
10/00165/B Mr and Mrs Mc Nabb Claddagh Mill Farm, Sulby Bridge, Sulby. Erection of detached garage/store. Approved Unanimous.
10/00197/B Mr and Mrs Corkish - Baldromma Beg, Jurby Road, Lezayre Erection of a kitchen extension. Approved Unanimous.
10/00220/B Mr M Forbes - 19 Ballaterson Crescent Peel - Erection of shed Clover Cottage, Main Road Sulby. Approved Unanimous.
09/00504/B Mr F Sweeney Lady Hill, Sallins, County Kildare, Ireland Residential layout for four buildings - land adjacent to Ginger Hall Hotel, Ballamanagh Road, Sulby. Additional plan received (vehicular access etc). The Commissioners have no comments in relation to the access. They refuse this application because of the drainage for this site and other drainage issues in this area.
