CON Consultation 1 Highways

Hello, From the Planning List 14 Jun 2024 and excluding planning applications with suffix ‘CON’ and reconsultations, the following new planning applications have highway related impacts and will be subject to a separate response:

The following planning applications have no significant negative impact upon the highway network in terms of highway safety, highway operation and car parking. Highway Services HDC does not oppose (DNO) the following applications. Advisory comments are applied where relevant, such as for licences to use the highway for equipment and material during works:

• • 24/00383/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as the updated plans dated 12 Jun 2024 online are still acceptable.
• • 24/00641/A – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as it is an infill development on a residential street with suitable visibility onto Clifton Road for the dwellings future accesses. Vehicles access and driveway/parking layout should be reserved matters.
• • 24/00651/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as the existing field access and gate is acceptable for the relatively small size of the proposed operation.
• • 24/00653/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as the proposed dwellings have suitable parking and access, as well as additional visitor parking proposed. Conditions to implement access, driveways and pedestrian footpaths, and garages before first occupation should be attached to permission, as well as conditioning the garages to be used for parking of vehicles only should be attached.
• • 24/00614/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking subject to a condition requiring parking on the approve plans being available for guests of the pod.
