The Site:
Situated on Bridge street in Peel, the property is located in a conservation area on a terraced street of residential dwellings. The property is positioned immediately off of the pavement on the public highway with parking provisions on the roadside limited to 2 hour parking zone Monday to Saturday 8:30am – 5pm or for residents with a ‘P’ permit.
This 3 bedroom mid terrace property has a garden to the rear of the property with manx stone wall and neighbouring property wall boundary.
Planning History:
The only planning applications noted for the property are all in relation to the replacement of external doors / windows which all date back to 2004 and 2005.
The Proposal:
Change the usage of the property from its current usage of private residential 3 bedroom dwelling to new usage of 3 bedroom tourist accommodation. The property is considered to be very well suited to create tourist accommodation, conveniently located in Peel with a wide range of facilities, amenities and activities all located a short walking distance away of the property aswell as public transport links that allow tourists to travel across the island and also access both the ferry terminal and airport.
