A photograph showing the front elevation of a white terraced house at 16 Brunswick Road, featuring bay windows and a black metal railing.
Brunswick Road is situated within the Woodbourne Road Conservation area connecting with Alexander Drive and Tennis Road. No. 16 Brunswick Road is at the junction with Tennis Road and Brunswick Road. At present the property in question has single-glazed timber windows and doors (excluding an already replaced PVC glazed rear access door). My Client, Mr P. Vernon-Browne wishes to replace the timber doors and windows with more energy efficient PVC doubleglazed units which are sensitive to the conservation area requirements and match the existing windows like-for-like. Also, the 3 no. roof lights are to be replaced with larger Velux openings.
2.0 Developments to surrounding Properties
There are a considerable amount of properties on Brunswick Road that the owners have either replaced their existing single-glazed timber windows with PVC, added larger Velux roof opening lights, added dormers or who have been developed deploying a number of these options. At no. 16 My Client wishes to replace the existing single-glazed timber windows with double glazed PVC windows to match the neighbouring property at no. 14 and replace his small roof lights with larger Velux windows as that at no. 18 Brunswick Road. {{image:51666}}

3.0 Proposal
The Proposal for this property is to replace the Windows, Velux and Rear Door from a timber single glazed to double glazed PVC units, and have these new units as a conservation style so that they are similar to the timber sash windows and also that of their neighbours.
