In pursuance of his powers under the above Acts and Regulations, the Minister for Infrastructure, does hereby APPROVE planning application 12/00414/B by Kestrel Insurance Ltd for Installation of illuminated signage at 8-12 Main Road, Onchan, IM3 1AS, subject to the following conditions:
- The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
- This consent relates to the erection of illuminated signage as shown on Drawings AT1142.1 and AT1142.2 received on 16 March 2012.
- The signage shall not be illuminated outside of the hours of 08.00hrs and 21.00hrs on weekdays (Monday to Friday inclusive) and not at any time on Saturdays and Sundays.
- The signage hereby granted consent shall not be installed or erected until the existing external signage at 8-12 Main Road, Onchan, IM3 1AS has been removed.
- The illumination of the proposed sign(s) shall not be of a flashing or intermittent type.
- The luminance of the sign shall not exceed 76 candelas/m².
- The illumination of each individual letter shall not exceed 52.5 lumen.
- No sign or advertisement (illuminated and/or non-illuminated) other than that consented by this permission shall be erected/displayed at 8 – 12 Main Road, Onchan, IM3 1AS without the prior written consent of the Planning Authority.
