The building in question is currently trading as a Co-operative Food Store and has done so for a number of years. It is a registered building. Registered Building No. 32. It also resides in a Conservation area. Existing Signage.
The Proposal.
The existing fascia is to be retained and will benefit from a deep clean. Two new Post Office vinyls to be applied to existing fascias as replacements for the badly faded ones. {{image:7151880}}
There is also to be a new non illuminated timber projector to replace badly faded existing one. {{image:174491}} Please refer to scheme drawing for full details. It brings a sympathetic but fresh new look to the Store. The access to the building is not affected. During the installation, the elevation will be cordoned off by barriers whilst safely leaving pedestrian access.
