Rushen Parish Commissioners have considered the following planning applications and their views are:-
a) 11/1742. Shenvalley Farm, Ballnahowe. Cheeseden Investments. Demolition of existing building and construction of new detached dwelling with detached garage.
The Commissioners views are as stated for the previous application. They have concerns about the size of the proposed house and feel that it would be too large in this location which, being on a hillside, is visible from surrounding and lower ground. As there is also a large garage to be included thee would be quite a mass on the site. The Commissioners are pleased that the design is traditional and that it would be in stonework.
b) 11/1762. West View, Cregneash. Manx National Heritage. Replace front entrance door to match existing.
No objections.
c) 11/1700. Kentraugh, Shore Road. Hintock Ltd. Installation of solar tubes to roof.
No objections.
d) 11/1730. 14b Odons Way, Ballakillowey. Mr & Mrs Connor. Extension to existing garage and erection of porch to front elevation.
No objections.
