To whom it may concern,
Previous planning application no. 17/01197/B withdrawn. Please see attached the new application for 36 King Edward Park, Onchan. In the initial application a number of concerns were raised by the planning officer. In this latest application these concerns have dealt with and the shed has been redesigned accordingly.
The shed will not look like a shipping container by using a lean to roof design. The colour will be in keeping with the lower part of the property and the windows each end will look more attractive. So overall it is more in keeping with the house and streetscape.
The overall size has been reduced, therefore will not have an adverse affect of the downstairs rooms of No. 36.
The clients Mr \& Mrs Collins have informed me that the shed is greatly needed for storage as they are using the garage for vehicles and have nowhere to safely store gardening equipment and tools. They also need storage for kids bikes and garden play equipment in the winter months.
